Like most painters, I am inspired by the beauty of nature, and exploring variations of color and light.  Photography can reproduce details; I aim to express emotion and feeling through the impression of brushstrokes.  As a Florida resident, I am in awe of the tropical beauty that surrounds us!  We truly live in paradise!  My inspirations are not only artists, like Monet and Van Gogh, but also my art students, friends and family!

As an Art Teacher, I am passionate about sharing my love for the Visual Arts with young creative minds.  As an Artist, I love to escape to that ‘Artist Zone’ and forget reality and get lost in the color!  I hope to continue growing, learning and evolving with love and feeling through visual expression.
